KindyROO centers are not simply ¡°gyms ¡± or ¡°playgroups¡± for children an babies they are educational centers aimed at helping parents learn about the importance of early childhood development to later school learning. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
KindyROO is based on research, which isolated the first years of life as being critical years for laying the foundations for later higher learning abilities. The program is designed to facilitate the integration of specialized areas of the developing brain, kindyROO promotes teaming in children by encouraging completion of the eartly childhood developmental stages. KindyROO encourages the integration and development of sensory (seeing/balance, smell/touch, feeling) skills to provide a secure foundation for intellectual development. KindyROO centers have for many years been doing what research has now identified, that motor based bouncing/rolling, swinging and spinning, jumping, tumbiling and climbing are all experiences which are pre-requisites to successful learning. |

| Motor based activity from as early as possible is just a continuation of the rolling and tumbling which occurs in the womb, it is a continuation of what nature ordained. Earty infancy is influenced by a series of inbuilt reflexes, which trigger movement, Movement is a key factor in developing self-esteem and confidence. |
